I’m currently reading Spook Country and, despite what you might take away from some of the reviews on Amazon, I’m actually thoroughly enjoying it.  Although I haven’t read many of Gibson’s novels (the only other book of his I’ve read is his seminal sci-fi masterpiece, Neuromancer), I find his unique brand of futurism fascinating.  He’s hard to pin down; simultaneously intrigued by and wary of the steady technological encroachment that defines our modern lives.  Check out the interview here.
